Well, here is the newest addition to our family. He or she will make their debut around October 13th. Yes, you did read that right. We are expecting baby number 5 one day after Sterling's 2nd birthday. I am 11 weeks along and VERY sick. I do well until about noon and then I go down hill. By supper time I am laid out on the couch till bed time. It seems to be that every time I am this sick I vow, "No more babies!" However, God had a little surprise for us. I cannot wait to meet my little cutie pie. This is a special pregnancy--this is the first time I have had a baby in the same state and with the same doctor. It seems weird. I went in for my first visit a couple of weeks ago and the doctor smiled and said, "You're back!" Yes, for the first time I am a repeat customer. Anyways, pray for my family because I am a cranky nauseous beast!

My Mom's visit
My mom just came down and visited us this past nearly two weeks. We had a great time. When she was here she helped us put in our first vegetable garden. We put in watermelon, cantaloupe, peas, lettuce, spinach, green beans, cucumbers, squash, and tomatoes. I will take a picture of the garden just as son as it stops raining. It has been raining for the past four days.
My mom also gave Sterling a big boy hair cut. He was looking a little shaggy and now he looks like a little man. My mom also baked up a storm. Her carmel and cinnamon rolls are the best! We also went to a botanical garden called Hodges garden. It was really nice. In one of these pictures you can see the kids sitting on a petrified log. It was discovered to be some type of tropical wood.
We took mom to the airport in Houston, yesterday. It was very hard to see her go. We loved the time we spent with her.
Bel's 7th Birthday
Well, last month Isabel turned 7. For all of you who know her well, she is obsessed with hippos. She loves them. She has tons of stuffed hippos, hippo books, toys, and the like. So, I made her a hippo birthday cake. It was interesting, but she loved it. I kept it a surprise and she was delighted. It is hard to believe that she is now seven. Bel was born in California--which seems like a lifetime ago. Bel was the worst pregnancy and delivery I have ever had. She is such a delight now. She is very loving, huggy, and helpful. She is my sweetheart! Thanks to all the family who sent her presents--she loved them all!
